A Tour you Don’t Want to Miss!
October 6th 12:30
Amon Carter Museum of Art
Women of the Arts will host a personally guided tour of the Amon Carter led by Jon Frembling, Curator. Have you been to Bass Hall and marveled at the 80-foot mural adorning its dome? It was designed by Fort Worth artists Scott and Stuart Gentling. Brothers and lifelong artistic collaborators, their artistic interests spanned centuries and continents, resulting in a varied body of work that ranges from emulations of naturalist-artists like John James Audubon to imagined visualizations of the Aztec empire. The exhibit Imagined Realism explores their distinct style that defied the movements of their times. This is a FREE guided tour. All ladies and guests of the Women’s Club are invited.
We just need your reservation no later than October 1st. Please send your reservation to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will meet in the lobby at 12:30 for this personally guided tour.
